Camas Parks and Walking Trails
The City of Camas
Parks and Recreations center provides a great deal of information and opportunities for exercise around our two cities. "The Camas And Washogual On A Diet" team's favorite Camas walking trail is around Round Lake where we like to meet at the entrance at Everett and Lake Road. There are miles and miles of beautiful places to walk or ride your bike. Visit their
Trails and Open Spaces page to discover more locations... and keep moving!
Washougal Parks and Walking Trails
The
City of Washougal has ample locations for beautiful walks or runs on trails or paths throughout the city and countryside. The entrance to
Captain William Clark Park at Cottonwood beach (Port of Washougal at Index and 32nd) is one of Camas and Washougal City On A Diet's team favorites. We meet there every workday at 11:45am, most days with a volunteer dog walker (with dog) to keep us company and keep up the pace! In addition to this consistent meeting time and place, we also enjoy meeting at
Reflection Plaza in downtown (B & 17th Street) to then walk or ride your bike through the
SR-14 Pedestrian Tunnel to the Dike.
Visit the
Washougal Parks web page to get more information on the many locations throughout Washougal that you can go to meet people or simply get some exercise by yourself.
